Water Polo & Swimming

I learnt to swim at an extremely youthful age and grew up adoring the water. I started to swim at Marlins Swim Club and contended locally and regionally in my younger days. I didn't appreciate swimming alone as it wasn't as charming, entirely exhausting and dreary.

At around 11 or 12 I chose to switch to Water Polo. I cherished football as a child, so why not a comparable game but rather in the water right? I turned into a top player in the striking position, in spite of the fact that we wind up in practically every position sooner or later of the game.

At age 13 was my first international competition in Mexico City. During my years of playing I contended in the Under 15, Under 18 and Open Men's groups for Marlins Swim Club, Royhil Seals Water Polo Club and obviously, Trinidad & Tobago National Team. That is me to the right hopping out of the water in the #10 cap at either a CCCAN or Carifta championship.

Water Polo & Swimming

I live on an island in the Caribbean, we have a thing called 'Down De Islands' (DDI). There are a few islands off the north-west landmass of Trinidad that we visit regularly.

I grew up going DDI and swimming in untamed water as a kid. I fancied angling and still do today as a grown-up. Here's a late pic of me with one of my catches for that day.
